We are convinced that there will be no future for soot polluting diesel marine engines in a world where the majority of diesel engines, even in the smallest vehicle, is running without producing any soot at all. In our vision, the anti-climax would be a luxurious super yacht, with “old school” soot producing diesel generator sets on board.

To be ahead of the game, we created an ultimately clean generator set, for a yacht environment. Taking into account all variables common in yachts such as a wet dry exhaust, fuel quality, limited available back pressure, certification rules and safety, we’ve been keen on providing complete systems ever since the first sketch was drawn up.

The outcome is a compact, price competitive design that meets super yacht standards and certification rules. Meeting emission legislation is mandatory; being ahead of this is innovative and a gift to the people that want to take it to the next level.

Zenoro customised sound enclosures can be opted to carry a Xeamos after-treatment system on top of the generator set. By that the shipyards installation workload is limited to a minimum. Simply install as a complete skid and connect seawater, fuel, exhaust and power cables.

All Zenoro generators supplied in combination with Xeamos after-treatment systems have all the necessary certification (EIAPP, IMO Tier III, etc) performed at the factory, so that the complete package is emission certified.

Guaranteed performance of your DPF by our professional cleaning service:

A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) filters and stores all solid residues (particles) that come along with the exhaust gas from a diesel engine. These particles are trapped in the porous wall elements of the DPF. During a regeneration process, the majority of the particles are transformed into gaseous exhaust gas. What remains in the DPF are so called ashes. These particles simply cannot be regenerated and will accumulate in the DPF over lifetime. The ashes are coming from oil, fuel and wear of engine parts. From time to time the ashes need to be removed in order to keep back pressure low, and to prevent damage (clogging, sintering) of the DPF.
